Now for a serene and tranquil place to go, try visiting in the morning or evening-you will find many secluded places that are beautiful and all you can hear are birds chirping or waterfall sounds, you might even spot some wildlife like we saw, a mother duck and her babies! See some of those gorgeous serene spots here:

There is a shady bench that looks out into the pond and waterfall just to the left of where this was taken, very peaceful.

A great spot to read, work, ponder or write while you look into the beautiful garden and enjoy the table for your book, laptop, and food/drink.

Red Butte Garden is so beautiful. There is so much diversity and variety in the plants, trees, grasses, ground cover and flowers. There are also a wide variety of roses-there is an entire garden dedicated to roses! See the diversity here:

This place is also fun and educational for kids and adults. For kids there is a small splash pad, a sandbox, some small garden tunnels, giant pretend lizards to climb on and more! For kids and adults alike the garden is filled with tiny signs by the different plants, flowers and trees etc. that says what they are.

The Visitor Center has a great gift shop, water fountain, bathrooms and more beautiful flowers and plants. They also do classes and hold concerts like their upcoming one featuring Santana (currently sold out). They give you a map to find your way around. Bring water, sunscreen, good walking shoes, a hat and a camera if you’re headed there in the summer! Oh and a tip, there is a small splash pad for kids but swim diapers are required.
